Bloom Room
BOTANICAL INSTALLATION, SWAN ISLAND DAHLIA FARM · SEPT 2026
Created as part of the Bloom Room Design Team at the Swan Island Dahlia Farm, this installation transformed an interior space into an exuberant botanical environment built almost entirely around the farm’s signature flower.
Working at a scale far beyond the individual arrangement, the Bloom Room explored repetition, mass, movement, color, and the cumulative impact of thousands of blooms. Dahlias moved beyond the vase and into the architecture itself, creating an immersive experience where flowers became both material and environment.
For Beam & Bramble, the project offered an opportunity to work collaboratively and spatially, contributing to a larger botanical installation while exploring the relationship between individual floral gestures and an intentionally overgrown whole.
The result was unapologetically abundant. A room overtaken by dahlias, designed to be entered rather than simply observed.
