Gilded Branch

BLOOM TOUR PDX ‘26 INSTALLATION, MAY - JUN 2026

Created for Bloom Tour PDX 2026, Gilded Branch transformed the exterior and interior windows of Taylor Street Kitchen into a suspended botanical installation inspired by the relationship between nature, hospitality, and urban space.

Gold-painted manzanita branches were suspended overhead and layered with cascading amaranthus, orchids, preserved mosses, air plants, and textural botanical elements. The installation was designed to create a sense of movement and discovery, inviting visitors to look upward and experience the space from a different perspective.

Installed throughout Bloom Tour PDX, the piece celebrated the intersection of art, community, and local business while contributing to Portland's annual citywide floral festival.
